Due to popular demand I've changed the way comments work so that the 'post' button now both saves the comment and takes you back to the comment list page. Also, I lengthened the username field and put a limit on the text box so you'll know if you type one that's to long. Also due to popular demand I've added several links to get you to the wedding photo page. I've also been working on error checking but since that's not done yet I certianly wouldn't want any of you wise guys to start testing it.

I made these scarves as gifts from Vogue magazine patterns but I think next time I'll just make up my own pattern. They did have nice finishing details like a fancy cast-off and a grafted center to make the edges nice which I might not have thought of myself.

Anyway, they were fun quick projects and I'm looking forward to giving them to the women I made them for.

I made this shrug to wear with my wedding dress (although I ended up wearing a warmer shrug with proper sleeves). I made it out of a mohair/silk mix that was really nice to work with, although a bit stressful given how expensive it is.

I finished the first leg warmer, now the trick is to finish the second one :)

I've added the ability for people to add comments, but I haven't put much error checking in yet so they can do silly things like submit empty comments. I did use the php function to strip out tags though. Now everyone can contribute their own clever bits :). (And admire my knitting projects, of course.)

smaller leg size

I changed the pattern slightly because I was worried that the legwarmer was going to be to big. Coincidentally, after starting the project I realized that the model was wearing the leg warmers upside-down. If I had realized that sooner I would have changed the size of the ribbing at the top and bottom to match the photo rather than having such a large cuff at the bottom. Anyway, I took out all the increases and just continued on the largest set of needles until I was ready for the cuff. This makes the leg warmer snug if I pull it up over my knee and almost tight enough to stay up by itself if I wear it at the top of my calf.

Hi everyone!  I may have gotten a bit distracted from my website while I was planning my whirlwind wedding but I'm back now and I've replaced my wedding info/rsvp site with an album of wedding photos.  If you have any photos you would like to add either send me a link to your site or send me the photos and I'll upload them to my site.

And now that the fun and excitement is over hopefully I'll have time to post more funny stores and the status of my knitting projects.
